2D IFU surgical training visuals

for orthopaedic surgical plates

2D product visuals for orthopaedic medical device

We developed surgical sequence IFU illustrations to demonstrate our client’s ankle fracture plates.

Current surgical approaches to treat fractures of the posterior malleolus have poor patient outcomes. This was potentially due to a lack of training or knowledge by non-specialist surgeons. Some new surgical techniques and approaches can drastically improve patient outcomes by 20%. These new surgical techniques required a new plating system, which prompted our client to develop a new ankle plating system.

The goal was to educate expert surgeons in these new surgical approaches, show the improvements in patient outcomes, and in turn, introduce them to the new ankle plating system.
